ABOUT US

We are the Association that groups the manufacturers and importers of Sound, Lighting and Audiovisual Technology sectors.

The Association aims to join efforts to improve the market situation, mainly supporting national and international activities related to the promotion and positioning of Spanish brands in the market.

From AFIAL, we defend the interests of all those companies belonging to the sectors of Sound, Lighting and Audiovisual Technology. AFIAL is not an end in itself, but the means to achieve the improvements that all of us who work in this sector wish.

Accepting and adhering to this code is one of the obligations of the associates

GENERAL FEATURES

- Comply with the legislation in force in each territory that is the object of its activity, respecting local customs and practices, even if they make a big difference with respect to the European cultural, legal and economic environment.

- Regardless of the above, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) are universally valid and can and should apply to all business activities of associates.

PROVIDER/CLIENT RELATIONS

- Develop long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect for the cultural values of our business partners.

- Protect customers and consumers from fraudulent or biased business practices.

- Offer products and services with commercial honesty, avoiding the use of biased information.

- Act with clients with full responsibility before, during and after the sale.

- Recognize the right of others to compete in the market.

RELATIONS WITH USERS

- Maintain the highest level of security in the products and services provided, cooperating as much as possible with the development of their quality.

- Facilitate access to information for all users, using the means of their company or the common ones of the association.

LABOR CONDITIONS

- Provide a safe and healthy work environment, applying current labor regulations.

- Promote complementary social benefits aimed at improving internal communication and participation.

- Abstain from discriminatory practices in hiring, training, promotion, remuneration or dismissal of contracted personnel. In particular, do not establish differences based on race, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, union participation or political ideas.

- Oppose any type of work by minors.

ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS

- Respect the environment, promoting alternatives to harmful manufacturing practices and favoring the use of elements or products that have been manufactured by methods that respect the environment. - Comply with current regulations on product recycling.

ASSOCIATION RELATIONS

- Cooperate and commit to the Association participating actively in their tasks. - Share their knowledge, experience and skills to contribute to the development of the sector, respecting confidentiality with respect to third parties. - Promote the knowledge and good image of AFIAL within the sector and in any other field external to it. - This code constitutes a general statement of intent and does not represent the totality of what is generally considered good business conduct and ethical behavior. Accepting and adhering to this code is one of the obligations of the associates.

WE COLLABORATE WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS

Our Association collaborates with other Associations such as APWPT (Association of Professional Wireless Production Technology), ATA (Sel-employed Federation) and Avixa (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association).
